My name is Tom Ellis and I'm a passionate 21-year-old adventure

photographer, based in Derbyshire, united kingdom. I started photography when I was 15, photographing my sister at horse riding events which has spiralled into a passion for landscape and wildlife photography.

In 2019 gained a strong passion for wildlife photography, living in the countryside I have been surrounded by wildlife all my life, I have memories from a young age of close encounters with foxes, badgers, fallow deer, sparrow hawks and much more from my local area. Now I'm able to get closer to wildlife through the art of photography and I'm keen to learn more, get closer and conserve wildlife.

My main drive is the pursuit of knowledge about my subject. Taking badgers for example, I've heard all the rumours and false information spread about them. In the past 2 years, I have simply learned a Cull is not the answer. With help from the BadgerTrust and many other organisations hopefully, my work can spread the facts about Badgers in the UK.
