This blog is more of an announcement. things may get added along the way but I see the only way I can make this blog interesting it to talk you through 3 of my current project expertise

Camera trapping.
I have been camera trapping for over 2 years now, I've gone through 3 iterations of camera trap boxes, 2 different sets of flashes and triggers and 2 flash boxes.
I will go through the first starting process, the basics of what you need, then deciding whether its affordable to buy or make your own boxes to protect your gear.
then we can go onto actually taking photos with your new camera trap

Badgers
badgers are something I hold close to my heart now. There has been a badger set close to my house since I can remember, only in 2020 did I finally took the opportunity to photograph them for the first time. In 2021 I made great strides in getting close and forming a bond with my local sett and have learnt a lot on the way. in the coming months I will go through my process to start photographing badgers.

Campervan conversion
In 2021 I made the decision to save up and buy a van to convert into a camper. At university I had chosen a project which meant I would be spending a lot of time away from home and university where I had accommodation. Given that this was after Corona virus restrictions were lifting, accommodation, hotels, cottages etc prices were at an all time high. So a campervan was a worthwhile investment. I will talk through the steps I took to convert my van, the mistakes I made and tips to help you along with yours.
